1. Eligibility and acceptance
Babywise is intended for adults responsible for a child’s care. By using it, the user confirms that they may enter the relevant child information and will keep important records accurate to the best of their knowledge.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
An account is optional. Account holders are responsible for protecting their credentials and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorised access. The service must not be used to harm others, interfere with security, reverse engineer protected systems, submit unlawful content or present AI output as professional medical advice.
3. Licence, content and user records
Frontopolar GmbH grants a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app while these terms apply. Babywise branding, software and editorial content remain protected. Users retain their rights in records they enter and grant only the limited permission needed to operate the selected features, synchronisation and support.
4. Health information and AI
Growth charts, developmental ranges, nutrition and vaccination material are general information and personal record tools. Babywise AI is an automated system, not a person or live doctor. Responses can be incomplete or wrong; sources and important decisions should be reviewed with a qualified health professional.
5. Emergencies
Babywise does not diagnose, prescribe, provide treatment plans or replace an examination. In an emergency or a rapidly worsening situation, do not wait for an app response; contact local emergency health services.
6. Availability, changes and purchases
Features may change or be interrupted for maintenance, safety or legal reasons. Any paid feature is offered with the price and renewal terms displayed before purchase; cancellation, restoration and refund rights are governed by the applicable App Store or Google Play rules and mandatory consumer law.
7. Termination, liability and governing law
Users may stop using Babywise and may delete a linked account through the available controls. Access may be restricted when necessary to protect users, the service or legal compliance. German law applies, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in the user’s country of residence; jurisdiction is determined by applicable statutory rules. Liability is not excluded where exclusion is prohibited by law.
