1. You are interacting with AI
Babywise AI, shown in the app as “Dr. Kurtuluş Persona”, is an automated system. It is not Dr. Kurtuluş Hallaç or any other real doctor. A text or live voice session is not a conversation with a live doctor and does not provide individual medical care.
Questions for the real doctor are sent separately through Doctor questions; they are not answered by the AI and are not sent to the AI provider.
2. Sources and possible errors
Responses are designed to draw on Babywise materials sourced from Dr. Kurtuluş Hallaç and may show source cards. The system can still misunderstand context, omit information or produce an incorrect answer. Review the sources and confirm important decisions with a qualified health professional.
3. Information used
The third-party AI provider is OpenAI. To prepare a response, Babywise sends your question, the conversation history and, if a child profile exists, the context of the child selected in the app: name, born or expected status, date or expected date of birth, sex and calculated age. A pseudonymous identifier derived from your account is included for abuse prevention.
The app asks for your permission before your first AI conversation. Written conversations can be stored with a linked account and included in export and deletion tools.
4. Live voice
During a live session, microphone audio is streamed to OpenAI for realtime processing and transcription; microphone access is requested only when you start a voice session. Babywise does not retain raw audio as a permanent product record; the resulting text question and answer may become part of conversation history and remains until the user deletes it or the linked account.
5. Safety boundary
AI output is not a diagnosis, prescription, treatment plan or doctor’s examination. Babywise is not an emergency service. In an emergency or a rapidly worsening situation, contact local emergency health services without waiting for a response.
6. AI-generated narration and videos
Article narrations use an AI model of Dr. Kurtuluş Hallaç’s own voice, and the short videos show an AI-generated likeness of him presenting his own content. Both are produced with his written consent and are based on content he wrote or approved; they are not recordings of a live consultation. In languages other than Turkish, the videos are AI-dubbed translations of the Turkish original.
