Health & Child Data

What child and health-related information is used for and how choice works.

1. Information covered

  • Child profile and age information.
  • Weight, height, head circumference and measurement dates.
  • Vaccination entries, dates and optional notes.
  • Development observations and notes.
  • Child context deliberately selected for an AI question.

2. Separate purposes

The information supports age calculation, personal records and charts, content personalisation, optional account synchronisation and—only when selected—context for an AI conversation. Health and child information is processed for these selected purposes with the adult user’s explicit consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a).

3. Device and cloud

Without an account, supported records can remain on the device. Linking an account can synchronise eligible records to Supabase for restoration and cross-device use. The user should be told clearly before a record moves from device-only storage to cloud processing.

4. Choice and withdrawal

Health and child data permission is separate from acceptance of the Terms and Privacy Notice. Where consent is the approved legal basis, it can be withdrawn for future processing without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing. Features requiring that information may then become unavailable, while device-only functions should remain available where technically possible.

5. Important limits

Percentiles, developmental ranges and vaccination entries are not official medical records or clinical evaluations. The adult entering information confirms they are authorised to do so and should verify medical decisions with a health professional.
